About David Phelan, LPC
David Phelan is passionate about helping others become all that they are capable of being; a passion which he has pursued for the past twenty five years. Helping others became a keen interest at a young age when, in high school, he served on the leadership team of his youth group. The passion to help others transform their lives led David, throughout his career, to serve in a wide variety of capacities in psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, churches, schools, community development organizations, as well as in the for-profit sector. A common thread in all of these endeavors was to help individuals and organizations become all they were capable of becoming.
Purpose and Plan is resource for extending David’s reach to an even wider audience as users around the world can benefit from the same principles and practices as do the clients in his personal and professional development private practice.
Completing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology, from Grand Canyon University, in 1990, David went on to complete a Master of Counseling (MC) degree from the University of Phoenix in 1995. He has been a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Arizona since 1999. He also completed the national certification as Board Certified Neurotherapist (BCN) from the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance in 2010. David has been in private practice in Litchfield Park, AZ since 2004.
